What is a PIN?
A PIN is a property index number. Each property parcel has a unique 16-digit number, formatted like: ## – ## – ## – ### – ### – ####. Each set of numbers narrows into the identity of your property, starting from the large scale; township – section – block number – parcel – use of parcel (most common is “-0000”).
Do I need to start renewing my Senior Freeze application right after the new calendar year starts?
No. Updated Freeze forms for the current year are not available from the county until April, approximately.
I am interested in buying a house in your township and looking for as much house information as possible. What information does the township have?
The township can provide information such as building details, year built, square footage, legal description of the property, some history of the property; These details are included on a PRC, or Property Record Card.
I don’t know my PIN, can you still look up the information on my home/property?
Yes. We can search by address or owner’s name.
