Ride Share
Jackson Township does have an agreement for the current year for paratransit service to be provided for eligible riders. There is a new consolidated service effective January 1, 2026. The process is to combine existing Central Will Dial-a-Ride users into Access Will County Dial-a-Ride. Residents can register by phone with the Jackson Township Office at 815-423-5780, or online at Access Will County Dial-a-Ride Program. Forms can be completed in about 5 to 10 minutes. Will County and Pace registration staff will review, approve, and finalize registration, normally in the same day.
Access Will County Dial-a-Ride is a curb to curb, transportation service for seniors and residents living with a disability. Seniors 60 years of age and older, or residents with a disability should specify mobility aids used to ensure the correct equipped vehicle. Eligible residents can travel anywhere within the area shown on this interactive map for work, medical appointments, or social visits.
Previous Registration Process (Updates Pending):
- Seniors can call Senior Services of Will County at 85-723-9713 to obtain a special bus pass ($5 fee required)
- Disabled residents should call the Regional Transit Authority at 312-663-4357 (press 3) for an application.
Previous Reservation Process (Updates Pending)
- Service is available Monday – Friday, 6am – 5pm, with a fare of $2.00
- Reservations must be made at least three days in advance by calling 1-800-244-4410
- Rides are subject to availability & scheduled on a first-come, first served basis
