Ride Share
Jackson Township does have an agreement for the current year for paratransit service to be provided for eligible riders. Jackson Township-Central Will Dial-A-Ride is a PACE contracted, curb to curb, accessible vehicle transportation provider. This service is available to residents who are 60 years of age and older, or residents with a disability who reside in Jackson Township, Homer Township, Joliet Township, Lockport Township, Troy Township, or the City of Joliet. Eligible residents can travel anywhere within these areas for work, medical appointments, or social visits.
Registration Process:
- Seniors can call Senior Services of Will County at 85-723-9713 to obtain a special bus pass ($5 fee required)
- Disabled residents should call the Regional Transit Authority at 312-663-4357 (press 3) for an application.
Reservation Process
- Service is available Monday – Friday, 6am – 5pm, with a fare of $2.00
- Reservations must be made at least three days in advance by calling 1-800-244-4410
- Rides are subject to availability & scheduled on a first-come, first served basis
